This version includes procedural models for GrowFX which can be further modified, while the standard 3ds Max version only includes collapsed meshes that cannot be modified further (unless you change the mesh itself). If you want to animate wind or growth with the trees, you would need the plugin “GrowFX” from Exlevel and the GrowFX version of Real Trees.
